Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. ペンダントフルオロ脂肪族基、ペンダント有機溶解性基およびエポキ シシランと反応させたペンダント基を有するフッ素化オリゴマー部分を含むポリ マー化合物。 2. 前記フッ素化オリゴマー部分が、 (i)過フッ素化末端基を有するフルオロ脂肪族基、 (ii)複数の炭素原子と任意で1個以上のカテナリー酸素原子とを含む有機溶 解性基および (iii)エポキシシランと反応可能な有機官能基 に結合した脂肪族骨格であって、各フルオロ脂肪族基、有機溶解性基およびエ ポキシシランと反応可能な有機官能基が、共有結合、ヘテロ原子または有機結合 基によりオリゴマー脂肪族骨格に独立に結合している脂肪族骨格を有する請求項 1記載のポリマー化合物。 3.前記フルオロ脂肪族オリゴマー部分は、 (式中、R1、R2およびR3は、それぞれフッ素化、二官能性および溶解性モ ノマーから誘導された重合単位を表わし、合わせて脂肪族骨格を形成するもので あり、 各Qは独立に共有結合、ヘテロ原子または有機結合基であり、 Rfは過フッ素化末端基を含有するフルオロ脂肪族基であり、 Rbはエポキシシランと反応可能な有機官能基であり、 Rsは複数の炭素原子と、任意で1個以上のカテナリー酸素原子を含む有機溶 解性基であり、 a、b、cおよびdは化合物がオリゴマーとなるような整数であり、 エポキシシランは、 および (式中、mおよびnは1から4の整数、Rは炭素原子10個未満の脂肪族基、 炭素原子10個未満のアシル基または式(CH2CH2O)jZ(jは少なくとも 1の整数、Zは炭素原子10個未満の脂肪族基である)の基である)により表わ される) で表わされる請求項1記載のポリマー化合物。 4.前記フッ素化オリゴマー部分が約2から約25のフルオロ脂肪族基を有す る請求項1記載の組成物。 5.前記フッ素化オリゴマー部分が複数の溶解性基を有する請求項1記載の組 成物。 6.前記溶解性基が、約8から約50個の炭素原子を含有し、直鎖、分岐鎖、 環状またはこれらの組み合わせである請求項1記載の組成物。 7.前記溶解性基が、前記フッ素化オリゴマーのペンダント、前記フッ素化オ リゴマーのカテナリー、またはペンダントおよびカテナリー溶解性基の混合物の いずれかである請求項1記載の組成物。 8. (i)下式 (式中、Rfは過フッ素化末端基を含有するフルオロ脂肪族基であり、 Rsは複数の炭素原子と、任意で1個以上のカテナリー酸素原子を含む有機溶 解性基であり、 Rbはエポキシシランと反応可能な有機官能基であり、 各R4は水素、ハロゲンまたはメチルであり、 各Qは独立に共有結合、ヘテロ原子または有機結合基である)のモノマーを不 活性溶媒中で連鎖移動剤およびフリーラジカル開始剤の存在下、化合する工程と 、 (ii)前記モノマーを反応させて、下式 (式中、Q、G、Rf、RsおよびRbR4およびQは上述の通りであり、a、b 、cおよびdは前記化合物がオリゴマーとなるような自然数である)で表わされ る部分を有する1種類以上のオリゴマーを含む組成物を形成する工程と、 (iii)工程(ii)の前記中間体をエポキシシランでさらに重合する工程と を含む請求項1の組成物を調製する方法。 9. 液体と接触するコーティング装置の一部に下塗りコートを適用する工程と、 前記下塗りコートを硬化して下塗り表面を与える工程と、 ポリマー化合物を前記下塗り表面に適用する工程と、 前記ポリマー化合物を放射線で硬化して低表面エネルギー表面を与える工程 とを含む、請求項1の前記ポリマー化合物を用いて使用中の液体の縦すじを最小 にする液体コーティング装置を作成する方法。 10. 前記下塗りコートが適用される前記コーティング装置の一部を削る工程 と、 前記下塗りコートが適用された前記コーティング装置の一部を削る工程と、 前記ポリマー化合物を適用する工程の後で前記コーティング装置を加熱する 工程と をさらに含む請求項9記載の方法。
