Abstract
La linea di telecomunicazione comprende almeno una stazione terminale (1, 2) avente un trasmettitore di segnali ottici (T1, T2) ed un ricevitore di segnati ottici (R1, R2), i quali sono operativamente collegati da un dispositivo automatico di protezione (19) atto a spegnere detto trasmettitore (T1, T2) in assenza di segnale ottico ricevuto, almeno una linea a fibre ottiche (3, 4) per la trasmissione dei segnali ottici trasmessi da detto trasmettitore e ricevuti da detto ricevitore, ed almeno un amplificatore ottico (5) incluso in detta linea (3, 4). A detto amplificatore ottico (5) sono associati mezzi (12) di rilevamento della presenza di energia luminosa in ingresso e mezzi (14) di comando dello spegnimento dell'amplificatore, che in assenza di energia luminosa in ingresso sono comandati da detti mezzi di rilevamento (12) ad interrompere sostanzialmente ogni emissione di energia luminosa da parte di detto amplificatore ottico.(Fig. 2).
