Description
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention, as stated in the title of this specification refers to a flat cardboard sheet conveyor device for boxes forming machines, and more particularly to a device for pulling flat cardboard sheets from a dispensing stack arranged in the initial area of the conveyor device towards a station for forming the cardboard boxes provided at the end of the same conveyor device. [0002] The new device of the invention provides simplicity in adjusting the conveyor in order to be suited to the different sizes of boxes, lengthening or shortening thereof, from the forming station.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Currently, there are cardboard-boxforming machines, among which should be noted, for example, the patent for invention No. 556259 (ES 8 704 799 A1). The boxes are formed by folding the sides of a preformed cardboard sheet for forming a cardboard box, said cardboard sheet comprising a bottom panel that forms the bottom of the box, on which two separate panels are articulated by their respective edges, making up its side walls articulated to said bottom and those parts overlapping and adhering to two of such sides.
[0004] On this basis, the machine of the referred Invention Patent is characterized in that it comprises, among other features, the following: A station for storing preformed cardboard sheets from which said sheets are supplied, one by one, to form with them containers or boxes.
Means for extracting the sheets contained in the storage station in order to deposit thereof between parallel guides arranged at the exit of the warehouse. Means for establishing a mechanism for transmitting force and motion, which acts on the removable sheets, making them slide on and between such guides until introducing thereof in the molding or forming station.
[0005] The cardboard boxes forming machines, among which is included the mentioned Invention Patent No. 556259, in order to adjust the format of the box, require a length sufficient to modify the size of the conveyor of the preformed sheets or plates and the use of complex devices that ensure the correct tension of some chains and components making it up .
[0006] On the other hand, if it is accidentally stopped by some blockage of the above, it is necessary to synchronize again the thruster parts with the actual location of the cardboard sheets. Furthermore, US 5 653 671 A1 discloses a device according to the preamble of claim 1.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0007] To achieve the objectives and avoid the drawbacks mentioned in the preceding paragraphs, the invention proposes a flat cardboard sheet conveyor device for boxes forming machines, which conveyor device pulls the flat cardboard sheets from a dispensing stack arranged in an initial area of the conveyor device, towards a forming station provided at the end of the conveyor device.
[0008] On this basis, the invention is characterized in that it includes means for varying the length of a horizontal entraining loader in combination with a tractive mechanism vertically movable along a fixed support, so that by varying the length of that tractive mechanism such tractive mechanism is raised or lowered, thus obtaining the desired length of said horizontal entraining loader according to the needs required depending on the sizes of the cardboard sheets and the relative location of the box forming station, supporting such flat cardboard sheets on that horizontal entraining loader.
[0009] This horizontal entraining loader essentially consists of a lateral chain coupled to a pair of end pinions, coupled to cross axles, to which a guiding structure that allows regulating the length of the horizontal entraining loader and thus varying the distance between said cross axles mentioned above is jointly connected.
[0010] The closed-loop lateral chain is in turn coupled to a large cogwheel and also to a tractive cogwheel that is part of the tractive mechanism, with a clutch mechanism being sandwiched in the transmission of motion in order to disengage that the transmission if needed when a blockage occurs.
[0011] In this way we avoid and/or moderate aggressive mechanical shocks or motor stops that can break any component of the conveyor.
[0012] The lateral chain includes transverse pushers to ensure the pulling of the flat cardboard sheets in forward movement along the horizontal entraining loader. [0013] On the other hand, electronic means have been provided, such as an encoder, to always know the position of the drive chain and therefore of the transverse pushers for the flat cardboard sheets, which is essential to avoid manual adjustments to synchronize these components with the suction system that carries said flat cardboard sheets over the assembly of the conveyor device of the invention.
[0014] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, one of the end pinions is a double pinion that is connected to the cross axle connected to the tractive mechanism. This axle is also connected to a cross axle that is on the part of the entraining loader wherein the forming station is located, and which has a cross axle that is in the initial area of the entraining loader.
[0015] Thus, the entraining loader is divided into two sections, which are a first section comprising the initial area of the entraining loader and a second section that comprises the area in which the forming station is located.
With the addition of the double pinion movement is provided for both the first section and second section of the entraining loader.
[0016] This embodiment is especially useful when you need to perform a first stage for transporting the cardboard sheets, in great length machines or machines that require previous operations.
[0017] So as in order to provide motion to the first section of the entraining loader, the same engine and the same clutch system are used as to provide motion to the second section of the entraining loader, there is achieved a very safe machine and no problems of synchronizing or mismatches.
[0018] In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the horizontal entraining loader is moved through various cross axles wherein simple pinions are connected. These cross axles are in fixed positions. In this preferred embodiment, the tractive mechanism is also in a fixed position.
[0019] This embodiment uses the same engine and the same clutch system described above, but in this case the elements of the device are fixed so that the conveyor device is simpler, very safe and has no problems of synchronization or mismatches.
[0020] Next, to provide a better understanding of this specification and being an integral part thereof, some figures wherein in an illustrative and not limitative manner the object of the invention has been represented, are attached.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0022] Considering the numbering adopted in the fig ures, the conveyor device for flat cardboard sheets in cardboard-box forming machines is determined from a horizontal entraining loader 1 comprising a lateral chain 2 in principle coupled to two end pinions 3, these being in turn coupled to a first and a second cross axles 4-4’, to which a guiding structure 5 that allows adjusting the length of the horizontal entraining loader 1 and therefore the distance between the first and the second cross axles 4-4’ is jointly connected. In addition, on said guiding structure 5 the lateral chain 2 is moved.
[0023] For such purpose, the lateral chain 2 is coupled to a upper cogwheel 6 arranged below the horizontal entraining loader 1, said lateral chain 2 also being coupled to a tractive cogwheel 7 that is partof a vertically movable tractive mechanism 8 by being supported on a movable carriage 9 driven in vertical guides 10 of a fixed support 11, so that the vertical positioning of the tractive mechanism 8 is achieved by varying the length ofthe horizontal entraining loader 1 moving the second cross axle 4’ backward or forward. This loader supports the flat cardboard sheets 12 that are pulled forward by transverse pushers 13 integral with the lateral chain 2 until reaching a forming station 14 for forming the boxes 23, which final forming station is located at the end of the assembly of the conveyor device. In contrast, in an initial area and below thereof, the tractive mechanism 8 is located.
[0024] As shown more clearly in Figure 3, the tractive mechanism 8 comprises a gear motor 15 output shaft 22 of which transmits its motion to a drive assembly 30 by means of a adjustable clutch mechanism 20 axially driven by a spring 21 for disengaging the transmission power if necessary, said drive assembly 30 including the tractive cogwheel 7 mentioned above and a central pinion 19 which transmits its motion to a large cogwheel 17 by an intermediate chain 18. Thanks to the clutch mechanism 20 aggressive mechanical shocks orgeared motor stops that could break any component of the conveyor are avoided. In practice, a dry bite-type clutch has been chosen.
[0025] Through the connection ofthe central pinion 19 and the large cogwheel 17, the encoder 16 knows the position ofthe respective transverse thruster 13 at any time.
[0026] If by any chance a blockage of the transverse thruster 13 occurs, the clutch mechanism would act as follows.
[0027] The tractive cogwheel 7 would be blocked, disengaging by means ofthe clutch mechanism 20 from the rotation ofthe gear motor 15. The central pinion 19 forwarding to the encoder 16 would also be moved as being integral with the tractive cogwheel 7, so that the machine would continue to monitor the position ofthe respective transverse thruster 13.
[0028] In addition, if the clutch mechanism 20 does not exist, the gear motor 15 would try to keep moving the assembly of the encoder 16, so that the machine would lose the position ofthe transverse thruster 13 and once the blockage of that transverse thruster 13 is solved, the reference point between the encoder 16 and the respective transverse thruster 13 should be found again. [0029] Thus, the lateral chain 2 that moves on the guiding structure 5 is driven by the tractive cogwheel 7, horizontally guided by the end pinions 3 and vertically by guided the upper sprocket wheel 6. On the lateral chain 2 transverse pushers 13 are mounted, which sequentially and alternatively push the cardboard sheets 12 stacked from an initial area of the horizontal entraining loader 1 to the area wherein the forming station 14 for forming the boxes 23 is located. To facilitate the change of measure the first cross axle 4 corresponding with the end pinion 3 located at the beginning of the horizontal entraining loader 1 is fixed and then the second cross axle 4’ corresponding to the end pinion 3 located in correspondence with the forming station 14 is longitudinally moved forward and backward, as appropriate, bringing the movement of said second cross axle 4’ to the whole tractive mechanism 8. In this way, the horizontal run of the entire horizontal entraining loader 1 can be varied in the thrust area of the cardboard sheet 12. Also worth noting that to keep the length and tension of the chain all the tractive mechanism 8 is vertically moved, pulled by the longitudinal displacement of the second cross axle 4’ of the loader 1 as mentioned above.
[0030] The inclusion of the clutch mechanism 20 and the encoder 16, allows you never miss the connection between the respective transverse thruster 13 and said encoder 16, with the machine knowing at all times the position of the transverse thruster 13, although traffic jams occur by cardboard blockages.
[0031] Another important detail is that the device of the invention facilitates the change of measure, when changing the route of the horizontal entraining loader 1 in the working area in order to fit it to the measure of the corresponding cardboard sheet 12.
[0032] The guiding structure 5 that allows varying the length of the horizontal entraining loader 1 essentially comprises a flat centered body 27 guided between two sheets: top 28 and bottom 29, so that when the flat centered body 27 is longitudinally moved in conjunction with the posterior movable section of the horizontal entraining loader 1, the second cross axle 4’ and the end pinion 3 adjacent to the forming station 14 for forming the boxes 23, said longitudinal displacement will vertically pulled the whole tractive mechanism 8.
[0033] The posterior movable section of the horizontal entraining loader 1 includes a lower extension 24 which supports a portion of the lower branch of the lateral chain 2.

Claims 1. A conveyor device for flat cardboard sheets in card-board-box forming machines, comprising: - an encoder (16), - a tractive mechanism (8), - a clutch mechanism (20), and - a horizontal entraining loader (1) in an initial area of which cardboard sheets (12) stacked to be pulled through transverse pushers (3) towards a forming station (14) for forming cardboard boxes (23) are supported and which comprises: a lateral chain (2) that includes transverse pushers (13), a first cross axle (4), a second cross axle (4’), and end pinions (3) connected to the first and the second cross axles (4, 4’), characterized in that: -the tractive mechanism (8) is vertically movable and connected to the end pinions (3) by the lateral chain (2), so that: °the length of the horizontal entraining loader (1) is adjusted to the sizes of cardboard sheets (12) and to a relative location of a box forming station (14) by varying the distance between the first and the second cross axles (4, 4’); and, » the tension of the lateral chain (2) is maintained by varying the position of the tractive mechanism (8) in the vertical direction, - the clutch mechanism (20) is sandwiched between the tractive mechanism (8) that, in turn, transmits its motion to an assembly of a large cogwheel (17), and the encoder (16) arranged coaxially with said large cogwheel (17), being pulled by it, without losing the connection between said encoder (16) and the respective transverse pusher (13) at any time. 2. The conveyor device according to claim 1, characterized in that the tractive mechanism (8) comprises a gear motor (15) having an output shaft (22) which is coupled to a drive assembly (30) that includes a tractive cogwheel (7) that transmits motion to the lateral chain (2) and a central pinion (19) that transmits motion to a large cogwheel (17), with the outputshaft (22) of the gear motor (15) pulling the drive assembly (30) via the axially actuated clutch mechanism (20) which is also coupled to the output shaft (22). 3. The conveyor device according to claim 2, characterized in that the lateral chain (2) coupled to the end pinions (3), is also coupled to an upper cogwheel (6) arranged above the tractive mechanism (8), and also to the tractive cogwheel (7) that is part of said tractive mechanism (8). 4. The conveyor device according to the previous claims, characterized in that the clutch mechanism (20) includes an axially actuated spring (21) coupled to the output shaft (22) of the gear motor (15), around which the central pinion (19) and the respective tractive cogwheel (7) are also coupled, with both elements being simultaneously rotated by axial pressure exerted by the spring (21) of the clutch mech anism (20). 5. The conveyor device according to any one of the previous claims, characterized in that the tractive mechanism (8) is supported by a movable carriage (9) vertically displaceable by being coupled to vertical guides (10) of a fixed support (11). 6. The conveyor device according to any one of the previous claims, characterized in that the horizontal entraining loader (1) comprises a guiding structure (5) including a longerfrontstaticsection, wherein a shorter rear movable section is guided by a flat centered body (27) coupled between a top sheet (28) and a bottom sheet (29), both being part of the front section of the horizontal entraining loader (1), the front static section and the rear movable section having the first and the second cross axles (4,4’) wherein the end pinions (3) are coupled, so that the longitudinal displacement of the rear movable section will vertically pull the tractive mechanism (8). 7. The conveyor device according to claim 6, characterized in that the rear movable section of the horizontal entraining loader (1 ) includes a lower extension (24) on which a portion of the lower branch of the lateral chain (2) is supported. 8. The conveyor device according to claim 1, characterized in that the pinion (3) that is connected to the tractive mechanism (8) is a double pinion, and said double pinion is connected to the first cross axle (4) that in turn is connected to the second cross axle (4’) and to a third cross axle (4"), so that the chain (2) has movement in a first section (T) of the entraining loader (1) and in a second section (1") of the entraining loader (1). 9. The conveyor device according to claim 1, characterized in that the horizontal entraining loader (1 ) is divided into several sections by the cross axles that are in fixed positions, and the tractive mechanism (8) is also in a fixed position.
Patentansprüche 1. Fördervorrichtung für flache Kartonbahnen in Maschinen zur Formung von Kartons, umfassend: - einen Codierer (16), - einen Traktionsmechanismus (8), - einen Kupplungsmechanismus (20), und - eine horizontale mitschleppende Beladevorrichtung (1) in deren Anfangsbereich Kartonbahnen (12), die gestapelt sind, um durch transversale Schiebeeinrichtungen (3) in Richtung einer Formstation (14) zum Formen von Kartons (23) gezogen zu werden, getragen werden, und die umfasst: eine laterale Kette (2), die zwei transversale Schiebeeinrichtungen (13) aufweist, eine erste Querachse (4), eine zweite Querachse (4’), und
Endritzel (3), die mit der ersten und zweiten Querachse (4, 4’) verbunden sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass: - der Traktionsmechanismus (8) vertikal verschiebbar und mit den Endritzeln (3) durch die laterale Kette (2) verbunden ist, so dass: » die Länge der horizontalen mitschleppenden Beladevorrichtung (1) auf die Größen der Kartonbahnen (12) und auf eine relative Position einer Kartonformstation (14) durch Variieren des Abstands zwischen der ersten und zweiten Querachse (4, 4’) eingestellt wird; und °die Spannung der lateralen Kette (2) durch Variieren der Position des Traktionsmechanismus (8) in der vertikalen Richtung aufrechterhalten wird, - der Kupplungsmechanismus (20) zwischen dem Traktionsmechanismus (8), der wiederum dessen Bewegung auf eine Anordnung aus einem großen Zahnrad (17) überträgt, und dem Codierer (16) angeordnet ist, der koaxial zu dem großen Zahnrad (17) angeordnet ist, von dem er gezogen wird, ohne dass die Verbindung zwischen dem Codierer (16) und der jeweiligen transversalen Schiebeeinrichtung (13) zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt verlorengeht. 2. Fördervorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dassderTraktionsmechanismus (8) einen Getriebemotor (15) mit einer Ausgangswelle (22) umfasst, die mit einer Antriebsanordnung (30) verbunden ist, die ein Traktionszahnrad (7) beinhaltet, welches eine Bewegung auf die laterale Kette (2) überträgt und ein zentrales Ritzel (19), das eine Bewegung auf ein großes Zahnrad (17) überträgt, wobei die Ausgangswelle (22) des Getriebemotors (15) die Antriebsanordnung (30) überden axial betätigten Kupplungsmechanismus (20) zieht, der ebenfalls mit der Ausgangswelle (22) verbunden ist. 3. Fördervorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die laterale Kette (2), die mit den Endritzeln (3) verbunden ist, außerdem mit einem oberen Zahnrad (6) verbunden ist, das oberhalb des Traktionsmechanismus (8) angeordnet ist, und außerdem mit dem Traktionszahnrad (7), das Teil des Traktionsmechanismus (8) ist. 4. Fördervorrichtung nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kupplungsmechanismus (20) eine axial betätigte Feder (21) beinhaltet, die mit der Ausgangswelle (22) des Getriebemotors (15) verbunden ist, über den das zentrale Ritzel (19) und das entsprechende Traktionszahnrad (7) ebenfalls verbunden sind, wobei beide Elemente gleichzeitig durch axialen Druck gedreht werden, der von der Feder (21) des Kupplungsmechanismus (20) ausgeübt wird. 5. Fördervorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Traktionsmechanismus (8) von einem beweglichen Schlitten (9) getragen wird, dervertikal verschiebbar ist, indem er mit vertikalen Führungen (10) einerfest-stehenden Stütze (11) verbunden ist. 6. Fördervorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die horizontale mitschleppende Beladevorrichtung (1 ) eine Führungsstruktur (5) mit einem längeren statischen vorderen Abschnitt umfasst, wobei ein kürzerer hinterer beweglicher Abschnitt von einem flachen zentrierten Körper (27) geführt wird, der zwischen einer oberen Platte (28) und einer unteren Platte (29) angeordnet ist, die beide Teil des vorderen Abschnitts der horizontalen mitschleppenden Beladevorrichtung (1) sind, wobei der vordere statische Abschnitt und der hintere bewegliche Abschnitt die erste und zweite Querachse (4, 4’) aufweisen, in welchen die Endritzel (3) verbunden sind, so dass die Längsverschiebung des hinteren beweglichen Abschnitts den Traktionsmechanismus (8) vertikal zieht. 7. Fördervorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der hintere bewegliche Abschnitt der horizontalen mitschleppenden Beladevorrichtung (1) eine untere Erweiterung (24) beinhaltet, an der ein Teil der unteren Abzweigung der lateralen Kette (2) getragen wird. 8. Fördervorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ritzel (3), das mit dem Traktionsmechanismus (8) verbunden ist, ein Doppelritzel ist, und das Doppelritzel mitder ersten Querachse (4) verbunden ist, die wiederum mit der zweiten Querachse (4’) und mit einer dritten Querachse (4") verbunden ist, so dass die Kette (2) eine Bewegung in einem ersten Abschnitt (T) der mitschleppenden Beladevorrichtung (1) und in einem zweiten Abschnitt (1") der mitschleppenden Beladevorrichtung (1) aufweist. 9. Fördervorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die horizontale mitschleppen de Beladevorrichtung (1) in mehrere Abschnitte durch die Querachsen unterteilt wird, die feststehende Positionen aufweisen, und der Traktionsmechanismus (8) sich ebenfalls in einer feststehenden Position befindet.
Revendications 1. Dispositif transporteur de feuilles de carton plat dans des machines de formage de caisses en carton, comprenant : - un codeur (16), - un mécanisme de traction (8), - un mécanisme d’embrayage (20), et - un chargeurd’entraînement horizontal (1 ) dans une zone initiale duquel sont supportées des feuilles de carton (12) empilées pour être tirées au moyen de poussoirs transversaux (3) vers un poste de formage (14) destiné à former des caisses en carton (23), et qui comprend : une chaîne latérale (2) qui comporte des poussoirs transversaux (13), un premier axe transversal (4), un deuxième axe transversal (4’), et des pignons d’extrémité (3) reliés aux premier et deuxième axes transversaux (4, 4’), caractérisé en ce que : - le mécanisme de traction (8) est mobile dans la direction verticale et relié aux pignons d’extrémité (3) par la chaîne latérale (2), de manière que : » la longueur du chargeur d’entraînement horizontal (1) soit ajustée aux tailles des feuilles de carton (12) et à une position relative d’un poste de formage de caisses (14) par variation de la distance entre les premier et deuxième axes transversaux (4, 4’); et » la tension de la chaîne latérale (2) soit maintenue par variation de la position du mécanisme de traction (8) dans la direction verticale, - le mécanisme d’embrayage (20) est pris en sandwich entre le mécanisme de traction (8) qui, à son tour, transmet son mouvement à un ensemble roue dentée principale (17), et le codeur (16) disposé coaxialement à ladite roue dentée principale (17), étant tiré par celle-ci, sans perdre à aucun moment la liaison entre ledit codeur (16) et le poussoir transversal respectif (13). 2. Dispositif transporteur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le mécanisme de traction (8) comprend un motoréducteur (15) comportant un arbre de sortie (22) qui est accouplé à un ensemble d’entraînement (30) qui comporte une roue dentée de traction (7) qui transmet son mouvement à la chaîne latérale (2) et un pignon central (19) qui transmet son mouvement à une roue dentée principale (17), l’arbre de sortie (22) du motoréducteur (15) tirant l’ensemble d’entraînement (30) par l’intermédiaire du mécanisme d’embrayage actionné axialement (20), qui est également accouplé à l’arbre de sortie (22). 3. Dispositif transporteur selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la chaîne latérale (2) accouplée aux pignons d’extrémité (3) est également accouplée à une roue dentée supérieure (6) disposée au-dessus du mécanisme de traction (8), ainsi qu’à la roue dentée de traction (7) qui fait partie dudit mécanisme de traction (8). 4. Dispositif transporteur selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le mécanisme d’embrayage (20) comporte un ressort actionné axialement (21), accouplé à l’arbre de sortie (22) du motoréducteur (15), autour duquel sont également accouplés le pignon central (19) et la roue dentée de traction respective (7), les deux éléments étant entraînés simultanément en rotation par la pression axiale exercée par le ressort (21) du mécanisme d’embrayage (20). 5. Dispositif transporteur selon l’une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le mécanisme de traction (8) est supporté par un chariot mobile (9) pouvant être déplacé verticalement en étant accouplé à des guides verticaux (10) de support fixe (11). 6. Dispositif transporteur selon l’une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le chargeur d’entraînement horizontal (1 ) comprend une structure de guidage (5) comportant une section avant statique plus longue, dans lequel une section arrière mobile plus courte est guidée par un corps plat centré (27) accouplé entre unefeuille supérieure (28) et une feuille inférieure (29) faisant toutes deux partie de la section avant du chargeur d’entraînement horizontal (1), la section avant statique et la section arrière mobile comportant les premier et deuxième axes transversaux (4, 4’) où les pignons d’extrémité (3) sont accouplés, de sorte que le déplacement longitudinal de la section arrière mobile tirera verticalement le mécanisme de traction (8). 7. Dispositif transporteur selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que la section arrière mobile du chargeur d’entraînement horizontal (1) comporte un prolongement inférieur (24) sur lequel est supportée une partie de la branche inférieure de la chaîne latérale (2). 8. Dispositif transporteur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le pignon (3) qui est relié au mécanisme de traction (8) est un pignon double et ledit pignon double est relié au premier axe transversal (4) qui est à son tour relié au deuxième axe transversal (4’) et à un troisième axe transversal (4"), de sorte que la chaîne (2) a un mouvement dans une première section (1 ’) du chargeur d’entraînement (1 ) et dans une seconde section (1 ") du chargeur d’entraînement (1). 9. Dispositif transporteur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le chargeur d’entraînement horizontal (1) est divisé en plusieurs sections par les axes transversaux qui sont dans des positions fixes, et le mécanisme de traction (8) est également dans une position fixe.
