982,275. Boxes. H. K. STAUB. Oct. 30, 1963 [March 5, 1963], No. 8804/63. Heading B8P. The internal surface of each side of a box has a plurality of uniformly spaced projecting ribs 16 perpendicular to the base of the box forming grooves to receive partitions. Partitions having further ribs corresponding to those on the walls engage in the grooves and can themselves engage further partitions. Longitudinal and transverse partitions may be integrally formed to engage in the said grooves. The illustrated box is of plastics material and has a hinged lid 12 with an integral latch 18. A rib 20 is formed on the wall opposite to and at the same height as the hinge so that the box may be supported on appropriately positioned rails. Four ribs 22 on the base and lid are positioned so that the rectangle defined by one set of ribs lies immediately within that defined by the other set when stacked. A label holder 24 is provided on one side wall and a projecting lug 26 has an aperture 28 through which a rod may extend to secure several boxes together.
