Abstract

1,197,543. Receptacles for mounting on supports. ATHENA INDUSTRIES Inc. 5 June, 1968 [20 June, 1967], No. 26780/68. Heading B8P. A double receptacle for straddling supports 27 comprises two boxes e.g. 15, 16 hinged together at the top and having their bases connected by a flexible support-engaging web 20. In the embodiments this web 20, Fig. 5 (not shown), has additional flexible material (68) forming a series of sleeves (70) which can engage with a clip 72 to form a bight to shorten the web. The moulded plastics boxes 15, 16 are hinged together by a hook and rail arrangement, Fig. 9 (not shown), there being an identical pair on each box to facilitate moulding. Lids 35 are hinged by a similar arrangement. In other embodiments the boxes have internal supports and portions (63), (62), Figs. 7, 8 (not shown), a handle 65, Fig. 3, and one of the boxes may be replaced by a tissue dispenser (45), Fig. 2 (not shown).
