Abstract

1,164,690. Sack holder. HYGAP A.B. 27 Dec., 1967 [30 Jan., 1967], No. 58630/67. Heading A4A. A sack holder suitable for refuse-disposal purposes comprises a base-plate 1 and a casing constructed to surround a sack 3, the casing being divided in a vertical plane into halves; one half 4 is secured to the base and is provided with a collar 5 around which the top of the sack is folded, whilst the other half 6 is removable and also has a collar 7 which clamps fast over the folded edge of the sack when the halves are assembled. The collar over which the sack is folded may be formed partly by the top edge of the half-casing 4 and partly by a semi-circular member 5 attached to the half-casing by pivots 13. Inwardly-directed shoulders 9, 10 serve to hold the sack in place. A lid 8 may be present.
