Abstract

The invention comprises the compound of the formula: <FORM:0955989/C2/1> and its preparation substantially as described, that is using as starting materials the amine or a salt thereof and a salt of gluconic acid or free gluconic acid and/or gluconic acid lactone. Pharmaceutical preparations comprise the above compound in admixture or conjunction with a pharmaceutical carrier, preferably in unit dosage form. Solutions, syrups, drops and capsules are mentioned for parenteral or oral administration. The compound is water soluble and acts on the blood vascular system. Specification 916,644 is referred to.
