Abstract

The invention comprises dextromethorphan N-cyclohexylsulphamate of formula <FORM:0933141/IV(a)/1> and a process for its preparation in which dextromethorphan is reacted with N-cyclohexylsulphamic acid in a solvent for the reactants. Aqueous solutions of the above compound form anti-tussive compositions suitable for use in drop dosage form.
