Abstract

951,777. Boxes for lamp bulbs &c. ALLPAK PRODUCTS Ltd. July 13, 1960, No. 24456/60. Heading B8P. A box for packaging a pair of lamp &c. bulbs 15, 16 side by side and pointing in opposite directions comprises an open-ended tube formed from the blank shown in Fig. 1, one side 5 having a pair of cut-out flaps 9, 10 bent up about score lines 11 to form a pair of article-receiving compartments accessible from the open ends of the tube. The box is formed by bending the blank of corrugated paper about crease lines 2, 3, 4 and securing the edge of the side 6 to the intermediary side wall 7 by means of glue or adhesive tape. The flaps 9, 10 are slightly inclined relatively to the intermediary side walls 7, 8 and separate the two lamp bulbs. The box is placed in an outer cover which closes the open ends of the tube.
