A carton of the kind in which setting up from a collapsed condition causes base flaps to interlock automatically has two such flaps 20, 22 with extensions 38 which are secured to the end walls 2, 4. The extensions may partly or, as shown, completely cover the end walls, and may have lid supporting extension flaps. Flaps such as 43 on the end walls may have cuts 44 to prevent glue lines 46 being applied to them.
