634,946. Cartons. METAL BOX CO., Ltd., and STREATER, G. H. Sept. 22,1947, No. 25763. [Class 18] A carton formed from a single blank has recesses and slots in two opposite sides to accommodate the necks and flattened ends of toothpaste tubes and the like. The tubes are packed in two layers, the necks of those underneath fitting in deep recesses 15 and their flattened ends entering slots 18 adjacent the carton bottom and those above fitting in shallow recesses 16, 17. A portion may be glued to the carton bottom to form a stand, or a hinged cut-out portion may be provided therein.
