In a dosing device for centralized lubricating systems wherein a double-acting valve member 7 alternately unmasks the connection to the main lubricant-receiving pipe 3 and closes a central outlet pipe 6 to the lubricating point, and viceversa, there is mounted at a distance above the valve member 7, a nipple 9 which, with a peripheral packing 10 and a central passage 5 leading to the outlet pipe 6, bears with one end face facing towards the valve member 7 against an annular shoulder at 8 and at its other end face, is clamped against the shoulder, preferably with an interposed packing 13, by a screwthreaded pipe socket 12 holding the outlet pipe 6 and inserted in the housing 1 of the device. The housing 1 may be cast in one piece with a housing for an air chamber 18, as shown, carrying a threaded (at 21) insert element 22 to regulate the internal volume by variable adjustment thereof and also replaceable by insert elements of different lengths for this purpose. The latter housing communicates with the housing 1 through a centre bore 24, and a transverse bore 25 in the element 22 and a duct 23 where and as shown. Oil may thus be forced from the chamber 18 through passages 24, 25 and 23, chamber 4 and passage 5 into the pipe 6, the valve member 7 being then returned by the spring 16 to close the bore 2.
