758,908. Flow-metering valves. BOULY, H. G. (Thompson Products, Inc.). Sept. 15, 1953, No. 27258/55. Divided out of 758,831. Drawings to Specification. Class 135. A flow-metering valve comprises a plug valve having an external shoulder which is pressed towards a limit stop by a spring and also having a longitudinal passage extending through it which allows a restricted flow of fluid to pass through the valve when the shoulder on the plug is abutting against the limit stop but which allows fluid to by-pass a restricted part of the passage when the shoulder is moved away from the stop by fluid pressure. The invention is described with reference to the disclosure in Figs. 3 and 8 of Specification 758,831.
