Packing 8 and valve 6 are removable through housing opening 4 transverse to flow passage 2, 3, the valve stem 5 being actuated by rotary non-reciprocating nut 12 and handle 11 carried by boss 13 which is removable from a yoke 10 to permit the packing and valve to be completely withdrawn therethrough.
