Abstract

1,110,157. Valves. TOUR AGENTURER AKTIEBOLAG. 9 Sept., 1966, No. 40384/66. Heading F2V. A valve comprises a housing of cruciform shape having an inlet 10, an outlet 12, preferably axially aligned, and a valve controlling flow therethrough. The valve has a flange 19 cooperating with a seating on the body and a regulating portion 16 formed with a slot 17, preferably shaped to provide a linear flow/ movement relationship. A drain valve 27 is arranged in the other limb of the housing. The handle 11 of the valve carries a finger 21 which co-operates with a stop 24 on an adjustable ring 23. The ring is provided with holes 25 and a fixed flange with holes 26 to provide means for locking the ring, e.g. by wire. The finger 21 may also be provided with an apertured lug 50 for locking. The housing may be provided with valve branches at the inlet and outlet to provide means for connecting a flow measuring instrument.
