Abstract

992,613. Valves. ADOLF MESSER G.m.b.H. May 7, 1963 [Aug. 2, 1962], No. 17923/63. Heading F2V. A valve controlling flow between an inlet chamber 3 and an outlet chamber 4 includes a valve member comprising a metal pin 7 having a head on which is moulded a closure part 8a made in a plastics material, this part having a conical closure surface seating on a conical seat 6. The pin 7 extends through the seat and its other end is located in a guide plunger 11 slidable in an open-ended bore so that the outer end of the plunger can be engaged by an actuating member to open the valve against a spring 9. This spring is located in a screwed cap 10 wherein the valve member is guided.
