Abstract

791,118. Valves. ZIMMERMANN & JANSEN GES. July 21, 1954 [July 23, 1953; June 23, 1954], No. 21278/54. Class 135. A shut-off valve comprises a tubular member 5 constituting a passage for fluid and movable axially relatively to a removable dome-shaped cap 26 of the fixed closure member 4 by mechanism comprising a screwed spindle 7 and a lever 8 connected to two diametrically opposite pins on the member 5. The member 4 has openings 27 so that in the event of a sudden reflux of fluid the cap 26 is lifted into engagement with the tubular member 5. The latter passes through sealing rings 6.
