702,027. Valves. PATZIG, E. March 20, 1952 [March 20, 1951], No. 7275/52. Class 135 In a valve for liquids, the parts subject to inlet pressure, i.e. inlet connector 7, valve closure member 5, and valve seat 6, are made of metal and provide a substantially turbulence-free flow, and the casing 1, formed with an outlet 2, is made of a thermo-plastic synthetic material. The valve is actuated by rotating its spindle 3 by means of a handle 8, the spindle being in screwed engagement with a cover 9. Normally, the supply pipe engages with the connector 7, but it may screw directly into the casing 1. In a modification, a separate seat 6 is provided.
