Abstract
919,363. Linkwork. RESONATED PRODUCTS Ltd. Nov. 7, 1961 [Aug. 9, 1960; March 29, 1961], Nos. 27580/60 and 11511/61. Class 80 (3). Rotary motion of a shaft 10 is converted into reciprocatory motion of a member 19 by means of a flexible laminar member 16, one end of which is attached to a driving member 15 mounted in an eccentric and inclined bearing 14 carried at the end of the shaft 10, and the other end of which is secured between carrier plates 17 pivotally mounted at 18 and attached to the member 19. In a modification, a laminar member 27, Fig. 4, is attached to the end of a rigid pivoted arm 28 formed with an extension 30 to which the member requiring reciprocatory motion may be attached. In a further modification, one end of a flexible laminar member 40 is secured between arms 42, 43, the arm 43 being secured to the free end 51 of a torsion bar 50 and the arm 42 being pivotally mounted on the fixed end 48 of the torsion bar
