Mechanism for obtaining rotation of a driven shaft e as a function, which may be non- linear, of the rotation of a driving shaft a<SP>1</SP> comprises a cam a on the shaft a<SP>1</SP> which rocks a lever c pivoted at C<SP>2</SP> through a roller c<SP>1</SP>. The lever c also carries a roller c<SP>3</SP> which engages and drives an arm d fixed on the driven shaft e in a manner determined by the shape of the cam a. The shaft e is loaded in one direction by a return spring f secured to a housing d<SP>1</SP> thereon.
