Abstract

781,531. Jaw crushers. BOCHUMER EISENHUTTE HEINTZMAN & CO. GES. Sept. 8, 1955, No. 25773/55. Class 59 A jaw crusher adapted to be used in combination with an underground conveyer 2 comprises a fixed jaw 4, Fig. 1, and a cooperating oscillatable jaw 6 which is driven from a motor 17 through the intermediary of a flywheel 15. The jaw 6 is oscillated by means of a connecting rod 9 and an eccentric 11 mounted on the shaft 10 carrying the flywheel. In a modification, Fig. 2, the crusher comprises a fixed jaw 26 and a rotatable wheel 20 which has internal teeth 21 meshing with a pinion 23 mounted on a shaft 22 which also carries a flywheel 24 driven by a motor 25. The movable crusher jaw may be driven by the motor driving the conveyer. The crusher may be mounted between two conveyers or form a component part of the stationary frame of one of the conveyers.
