[Also in Division F2] A crusher comprises a pair of jaws 11 each supported adjacent its lower end in a frame 2 by means of toggle mechanisms 100 and restrained adjacent its upper end by means of springs 101, each jaw being gyratable relative to the other jaws by means of a shaft 30 having an eccentric weight 32 and driven from an electric motor 42. Each toggle mechanism comprises a link 102 engaged at its ends by bars 103, 104 loaded towards each other by springs 105, the bars 104 each being secured to a jaw and to a rail 8. The springs 101 are each secured to a jaw and to a rail 115. The frame 2 is supported on a frame 1 by means of springs 9.
