Class 117 [Also in Groups XVIII, XXX and XL(b)] In a jigging screen the shaft of the vibration generator 15 is mounted below the screen and close to one end thereof in a rigid frame 18 which extends approximately half-way along the screen and the sides of which are triangular. The shaft 14 may be the rotor shaft of a squirrelcage motor or may be driven by belt gearing from a motor mounted either on the ground or on the frame 18.
