748,679. Motor driving arrangements. STAMICARBON N.V. March 1, 1954 [Sapt. 7, 1963], No. 5978/54. Class 35. [Also in Group XXIX] A motor in a flameproof casing is coupled to its load through a hydraulic coupling the outer member of which serving as the fluid container is connected to the motor shaft and carries fan blades which pass air over the coupling and then over the motor casing. As shown, the driven member 6 of the coupling is secured to the rotor carrying sleeve 3 and carries the enclosure 10 for the coupling liquid and fan blades 15 passing air over the enclosed motor. The driven coupling member 8 is on a shaft 9 passing through sleeve 3.
