Abstract
927,803. Linkwork conveying rotary motion. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO. Ltd. April 6, 1961 [June 16, 1960], No. 21145/60. Class 80 (3). An inclined crank mechanism for coupling shafts 2, 3 on opposite sides of a partition wall 1 comprises a flexible bellows 5 secured at one end to the partition wall and carrying at its other end a hollow pin 6 that receives a bearing sleeve 9 within which the end 8 of the bent shaft 2 is rotatable and which pin 6 is rotatable in a hole 15 in a block 13 carried by a forked crank 10 on the shaft 3. The shafts 2, 3 and bellows 5 may be stainless steel and the bearing surfaces provided by P.T.F.E. bushes.
