[Also in Division B8] In an apparatus for sampling granular material (see Division B8) in which the material is fed through a shoot 18 on to a rotatable plate 15, a blade 20 is connected, at one end, to a pin 21 fixed to the plate and, at its other end, to a shoot 19 such that, as the plate rotates, the blade oscillates thereby mixing the material before it is pushed by a brush 25 through another shoot 26.
