Abstract
900,203. Refrigerating systems. WABRING- TON TUBE CO. Ltd. July 29, 1960, No. 26506/60. Class 29. In order to equalize the flow of fluid through passages in a heat exchanger plate, the inlet ports 7 of the passages nearer the inlet pipe 3 are smaller than those further away. In a heat absorption plate for a refrigerator, the passages are constituted by rectangular section tubes 1 tack-welded together on their shorter sides. The passages lie in groups of which all the members have the same size inlet ports 7 and the number of passages in each group increases with the size of inlet port of the group. Ports 7 may be formed as slots or round holes. Ports 8 are of uniform size.
