Abstract

890,000. Valve oscillator circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd., and MILLS, G. E. Nov. 28, 1960 [Nov. 30, 1959], No. 40610/59. Class 40(6). A common cathode oscillator valve feeds its output to a common grid buffer amplifier valve and the two valves are in series across the supply. In the embodiment a crystal oscillator 1 feeds a triode 10 buffer amplifier whose grid is grounded to A.C. via capacitor 11. The output from the buffer is taken from the anode load 13. Either or both resistors 3 and 8 may be made variable to provide control for varying the amplitude of the output.
