[Also in Groups XXX and XXXII] End movement of the piston 2 of a pneumatic jack is cushioned by a rubber spring having a cylinder sealing bead 6 seating in an annular groove 6a in the lower cylinder closure plate 5, and a series of spaced hemispherical projections 8 arranged circumferentially on an annulus 7 which rests on the upper face of plate 5.
