760,208. Pressure gauge and dust cap for pneumatic tyres. MULE, P. Dec. 17, 1954 (Dec. 18, 1953; Feb. 9, 1954], No. 36594/54. Class 106 (2). The pressure gauge comprises an internally-threaded sleeve 3 engaging the tyre valve, a cylinder 5 mounted to slide on the sleeve 3 and provided with a projection 12 which on downward movement of the cylinder 5 against a spring 6 depresses the valve spindle 13, a piston 14, biased by a spring 17 slidably mounted in the cylinder 5 and which moves to indicate the air pressure by its position relative to a reference mark 20 on the cylinder 5 and a screw 21 for adjusting the spring 17 so that a reference mark 18 may be brought to lie adjacent the mark 20 for any predetermined tyre pressure. The cylinder 5 is transparent.
