Abstract

Pressure gauges. - A pressure gauge for use with pressure gas bottles is provided with a consumption pointer adjustable independently of the pressure-indicating pointer whereby the quantity of gas consumed during a single operation is indicated. As shown in Fig. 2, a pressure pointer d secured to a sleeve c on the pointer spindle b, and a consumption pointer e is carried on the sleeve c between flanges and pressed into frictional engagement therewith by a spring f. The pointers cooperate with suitably-graduated scales on a dial plate p and after each use of the gas bottle the pointer e is adjusted to its zero position by an operating member l secured to a spring-controlled bolt i mounted in a sleeve h extending through the cover glass g.
