683,723. Cylinders supplying air for inflating tyres. MEISER, 1., and MEISER, G. H., (trading as MEISER & CO., G. H.). Aug. 8, 1950 [May 9, 1950], No. 19687/50. Class 7 (ii) [Also in Group XXVIII] Air pumps 23 replacing spark plugs 24 in two cylinders of an I.C. engine 14 supply through hoses 12, 13 a reservoir 10 connected to the valve 43 of a tyre 17 via a valve 26 mounting a pressure gauge 27. The valve 26 comprises a member 33 slidable against the pressure of a spring 40 to bring a valve disc 35, formed of a metal ring between two rubber or like rings, against a seat 32, whereupon the gauge 27 registers the air pressure in the tyre 17.
