607,161. Air-compressor relief valves. CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO., Ltd., and WILLETT, S. E. Jan. 28, 1946, No. 2716. [Class . 8 (i)] A vehicle tyre inflating means comprises a non-return valve 3 between an air compressor and a reservoir, and a pressure - responsive valve 12 connected to the reservoir and adapted under a predetermined reservoir pressure to vent the compressor to atmossphere through an opening 20 to which is attached the tyre connection. The valve 12 is of bellows type and bears against a spindle 13 of a spring- urged valve 16 to open it and so vent the compressor.
