Abstract

232,957. Smith, R. H., and Keogh, L. H. April 24, 1924, [Convention date]. Tyre valves.-An inflating valve is provided with a flap valve member adapted to seat on the foot usually formed on the valve casing. The valve member consists of a springy plate having disc part G fitted with a rubber washer G<1> and a bifurcated part H, these parts being connected by a narrow neck J. The bifurcated part is adapted to be clamped between the foot B and the inner side of the flexible chamber D.
