Vulcanizing cores.-An inflating or deflating stem for air bags utilized as cores for pneumatic tyres during vulcanization has a curved projection. 15 with a vertical height not less than one third its diameter extending from the flange 14 at the end of the tube 11 which is positioned in the bag 13. The curved projection may be hemispherical or semi-ellipsoidal in form and may have a concentric groove on its outer surface between the flange and the end of the projection.
