339,201. Zinsitz, M. G. Feb. 15, 1930. Inflating, methods of. - Means for inflating tyres from a compressed air supply which may be carried on the vehicle comprise a drum 'I mounted to rotate with the wheel, a pipe connection 4 leading to a valve 3 adapted to receive the supply pipe, and a pipe connection 10 leading from the chamber 14 of the drum to the tyrevalve and maintaining the latter open. A pressure gauge 6 may be fitted to each of the pipes 4. The side walls of the drum 7 are grooved to receive non-rotating slides 17, 18 and a packing-ring 19, the pipe 4 being fitted with a nozzle 16 passing through the parts 17, 18, 19.
