Inflating, methods of. - Means for permitting inflation of a tyre whilst the wheel is in motion comprises an air inlet 7 mounted in ball-bearings 5 within the boss 2 of the rotary hub cap 1, or in a separate member adapted to be screwed into the hub cap. A pipe 20 leading to the tyre valve is screwed into a passage 4 in the cap communicating with the main inlet 8. Packing washers 11, 14 and lubricating passages 15, 17 are provided as shown.
