Dust-caps for tyre valves. -A dust-cap for tyre valves is formed of two longitudinal sections C, D connected together by outside flanges S joined to a continuous foot portion B by similar flanges. The flange F on the cap portion extends outwardly and is doubled back upon itself and is held against an outwardly directed flange G on the foot portion by an inwardly directed flange H on the foot portion, all the parallel. The foot portion is internally threaded to screw on to the valve casing or to a threaded bush M formed on the rim nut N. The flange H is formed with recesses to accommodate the flanges S and strengthening-ribs E and so prevent relative rotary movement. Specification 157,170 is referred to.
