Abstract

215,846. McCourt, W. H. Feb. 17, 1923. Tyre valves. -A tyre valve has a spherical valve member 16 provided with h a stem mounted in a tapered coil spring 5 and adapted to engage a recessed seat formed on the end of a detachable nipple 7. The nipple is screwed into a recess 4 formed in the main casing 1 against a packing washer 9. The outer end of the nipple is screwed to receive the inflating p u m p or a closure cap 8. A dust cover 11 is adapted to screw on the main casing.
