538,462. Tyre valves. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd. April 4, 1940, No. 6103. Convention date, April 5, 1939. [Class 135] A tyre valve of the kind having an indiarubber stem has a groove formed between the threaded nipple 13 of the metal insert and the india-rubber body adapted to receive a washer of the form shown in Figs. 3, 5 or 7, to prevent the valve being drawn through the hole in the wheel rim. The washer is secured in position by means of the dust cap 14 or by bending down part of the washer as shown at 25.
