501,095. Tyre valves. CONTINENTAL GUMMI-WERKE AKT.-GES., and ROMMLER, H. Feb. 18, 1938, Nos. 5147 and 5148. Convention dates, Feb. 18, 1937 and April 30,1937. [Class 135] The body portion a of a tyre valve is made of a moulded artificial resin and is reinforced by an embedded metal tube b. The tube b extends at least up to the bottom of the valve seating as shown, but not beyond the top of this seating, and the valve cap g, preferably also of artificial resin, is extended so as to embrace the outer end of the tube b to strengthen the assembly. In a modification the metal tube b is expanded at its outer end to form the conical seating for the valve member c.
