205,044. Newman, C. Oct. 5, 1922, [Convention date]. Spring wheels. - A pneumatic tube 5 or a solid rubber annulus of oval or approximately oval cross-section is seated in channels in the outer rim 6 and the hub member 7, each of which is divided in a plane at right angles to the axis of the wheel, the parts being secured together by bolts or screws. Antifriction balls may be fitted to the parts to facilitate radial movement. The cushion member and its seating on the rim are correspondingly corrugated to prevent creeping.
