[Cognate Application, 8085/14.] Disk - wheels; spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and rubber-ring and like hubs. -Tyres g, Fig. 1, comprise a series of fabric rings placed face to face parallel to the plane of the wheel and clamped between the outer edges of two disks a held together by bolts e and shaped so as to form a groove for the tyre. A helical spring or a ring of rubber may be provided to give an elastic seating for the tyre. The disks are bulged outwardly at. o and provided with hollow bosses b in which is placed a sleeve m. The central parts of the disks may have conical flanges p adapted to bear on the correspondingly shaped rubber cushion r carried by the sleeve m, guide-pieces u carried by the sleeve m and cap n engaging lugs v on the disks.
