Spring wheels with sectional outer guided members ; spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and pneumatic cushions.-Relates to wheels of the kind in which a pneumatic cushion is enclosed in a rigid tubular rim through which project radially guided studs. In the form shown in Fig. 1, an aluminium rim a shaped approximately to resemble the usual outer cover has the space between its edges a<1> fitted by a segmental ring j. Between the studs k, which may be of metal or rubber, and the cushion is arranged a leather or rubber band g fitted in a groove b formed in the rim. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 2, the parts are inverted, so that the studs bear upon the felloe and the rim floats between side plates d.
