923. Hunter, R. Jan. 13. Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and pneumatic and like cushions. -Inner and outer metal rims A, B, Fig. 5, are of channel-form with inwardly-directed flanges. The outer rim contains a wooden filling. The inner rim is secured on the felloe. The two rims may be separated by a pneumatic cushion H, and may be connected by annular lateral inflatable cushions M, N, of semicircular section secured by transverse bolts G, which serve also to secure overlapping side - plates E, or both types of cushion may be used.
