Spring wheels. - A solid rubber tyre is assembled and secured to a wheel rim under radial and circumferential compression. In one form (Fig. 4, not shown) the tyre is compressed by means of a metal hoop shrunk over the tread. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 7935/84, 18431/97, 25516/97, 13104/03, 4253/05 and 23109/11.
