Abstract

245,356. Ar�stegui e Ybarg³engoitia J. M. De. March 28, 1925, [Convention date]. Tread bands; tyres with rims enclosing air tubes. -A detachable tread M, preferably of rubber, is formed with recesses or projections N which engage similar projections or recesses on a pneumatic tyre K, the grooves and recesses extending transversely of the tyre so that the parts may be assembled bp a movement perpendicular to the tyre plane. As shown in Fig. 1, the tyre is mounted on a rim c.arried by a disc wheel D and preferably formed of angle-irons curved shields C, bolted to the disc, extending as far as the joint between the tread and the tyre so as to prevent lateral displacement of the tread.
