Abstract

323,412. Plaino, E. Feb. 22, 1929. Inflating, methods of.-A device for use in inflating tyres whilst running, comprises a member 3 adapted to rotate with the wheel and having an annular chamber 4 which is connected to the tyre-valve by a pipe 7. The chamber 4 is closed by a fixed cover-plate 2 fitted with a compressed-air supply pipe 1. To permit adjustment, the opening 11 for attaching the wheel axle, and the bolt holes for attaching the device to the wheel, are preferably elongated.
