Spring wheels. -- A low-pressure pneumatic tyre 4 is fitted in a rigid metal casing 3 which is normally spaced from the wheel rim 6 and supports a high-pressure road-engaging tyre 5. The casing 3 is guided by a ring 2 carried by the rim 6, the inner surface of which may be used as a brake-drum.
