Rims and fedtoes; tyre attachments to rims. - An annular band 4, supporting a resilient tyre 1, which. has a continuous air cavity 2, is of a width equal to the width of the tyre 1, and is formed with h spaced beadings 5 projecting into the foundation bands 3, 3<a> of the tyre. For mounting in position, the band 4 may be transversely split as shown, so that it may be contracted, or the band 4 may be made of smaller diameter than the smallest diameter of the foundation bands, the band 4 being expanded by pressure after mounting.
